Jack Adam Weber, L.Ac., Dipl. C.H. is a published poet, author, traditional Chinese medicine physician, environmental activist, organic farmer, yoga and Qi Gong instructor, and calligraphy artist. He attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate and graduated valedictorian from Yo San University of Chinese Medicine in 2000. He divides his time between California and Hawaii, offering presentations, workshops, and readings on holistic medicine, environmental activism, deep ecology, somatic depth work, the creative life, poetry, and meditation.
Most of his articles and essays from the last several years are published at wakeup-world.com, with others at David Icke, Nature Bats Last, The Green Gazette, and Speaking Truth to Power. Jack’s poems have been published and recited in periodicals, webinars, articles, newsletters, debates, presentations, on-line journals, and in newspapers.
Weber has recently been a guest presenter on several webinars hosted by SynchCast and Carolyn Baker, Ph.D., discussing how to understand, cope with, and heal chronic imbalance in the context of our ongoing environmental crisis. For this, he seeks to understand global dis-ease through the lens of Chinese medicine’s poetics—namely, Yin-Yang and the Five Elements. Jack also maintains a popular on-line presence on Facebook and at his website blog page.
Jack’s first two books of poetry, uniquely contexted within the Five Elements of holistic medicine, as well as his hand-calligraphy “poetry-art” greeting cards, have been enjoyed by many. His Nourish Practice meditation-Qi Gong & upcoming emotional work CDs present a comprehensive body-mind program to center, rejuvenate, and live a more fulfilling life.
